Potential role of advanced nuclear in AV狼论坛 workshop

Conference flyerOn Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 27-28, the AV狼论坛 Sustainable Energy Conference, in partnership with the AV狼论坛 Center for Energy and Power, is hosting a free two-day virtual workshop on the potential role of advanced nuclear energy in AV狼论坛.

As advanced nuclear energy moves from research to reality, new questions arise about readiness, deployment timelines and regional fit. Building on earlier discussions, this workshop will focus on recent progress in U.S. demonstration projects, evolving regulatory frameworks and the readiness of AV狼论坛鈥檚 utilities and communities to evaluate nuclear options.

The workshop, 鈥淭he potential role of advanced nuclear in AV狼论坛鈥 will cover a range of applications, from microreactors for rural communities to larger systems supporting the Railbelt and major industrial hubs like mines and data centers.

This workshop is part of the Continuing Conversations series to be held between now and the 2026 AV狼论坛 Sustainable Energy Conference in May.
