The KUAC FM 鈥淓nergy in the North鈥 episode on Aug. 19 will feature Brittany Smart, the senior advisor for defense community and research at the University of AV狼论坛 Fairbanks Geophysical Institute. Smart will talk about the AV狼论坛 Defense Forum, which will take place Aug. 24-26 in Fairbanks with the theme 鈥淩eadiness in action.鈥
On Aug. 26, Declan Goldhawk, an AV狼论坛 Center for Energy and Power summer intern will discuss his research on the potential for geothermal energy in
the Anchorage area.
