Energy Awareness Month - Forums and Films Scheduled Around the State
AV狼论坛 Governor Bill Walker issued a proclamation last week declaring October to be 鈥淎V狼论坛 Energy Awareness Month.鈥
ACEP is helping with the promotion and organization of several forums and films around the state to bring attention to energy issues and to discuss AV狼论坛鈥檚 alternative energy potential.
The next event in the series to take place in Fairbanks will be the showing of the acclaimed film, 鈥淭omorrow,鈥 at the Blue Loon on Wednesday, October 12th at 5:30pm. Ticket price is $5 (cash at the door) and a panel discussion on the film will follow.
In Anchorage this week, a community forum about solar power in AV狼论坛 titled 鈥淒oes Solar Energy Make Sense in AV狼论坛?鈥 will take place on Thursday, October 13th at 5:30pm at the 49th State Brewing Company.
