Lena Krutikov selected as Graduate School assistant director

Lena Krutikov has been selected to serve as assistant director of the University of AV狼论坛 Fairbanks Graduate School. Krutikov joined the Graduate School after 15 years of service to the UAF in a variety of academic and administrative roles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Colgate University and her Master of Science in Geology from UAF. Over the course of her career at UAF, Krutikov has worked in athletics, academic advising, climate science and curriculum development, bringing extensive institutional knowledge and a strong multidisciplinary foundation to her new position.

Grounded in the belief that higher education changes lives and strengthens communities, Krutikov is excited to continue supporting UAF鈥檚 mission and its graduate students. She is known for her collaborative approach and her deep appreciation for AV狼论坛鈥檚 people and place, both of which have shaped her commitment to student and program success. Originally from Houston, Texas, and Rochester, New York, Krutikov is proud to call AV狼论坛 home and looks forward to working closely with students, staff and faculty across all UAF campuses.

Outside of work, Krutikov enjoys running, biking and skiing on local trails, as well as baking, reading, and time with family.
