The Delta Clearwater River is a great day or overnight paddle. The clear, spring-fed river has great fishing, lots of birds, and wildlife viewing. The river widens and eventually merges with the silty Tanana in a beautiful swirl of color. Folks either choose to paddle a 3/4-mile upstream grunt to get into Clearwater Lake and a takeout, or continue down the Tanana River to the bridge at Big Delta. Most of the time, the Tanana has great gravel bars to camp out and make the float to the bridge a fun overnight trip. for maps, a copy of the slides, and a gear list.
$10 lift tickets for both Skiland and Moose Mountain will again be available for UAF students who are taking six credits or more this year. This program will begin as soon as the resorts open for the year. Students can purchase their $10 ticket through the Nanook Recreation website starting at 9 am each day that the resorts are open.

The waterfalls above the Jack River in the AV狼论坛 Range provide one of the most beautiful and engaging ice climbs in the Interior. Many years, the falls will form a fat, steep, 50m WI 4 first pitch, which is generally followed by a more mellow WI 2 second pitch. The link will take you to a video guide to the logistics and specifics of a day climbing at Jack River. to access the files for the slideshow, maps, and gear list from the presentation.
This video presentation gives folks the information they need to go on a packrafting trip on the Jack River. The trip starts off the Denali Highway and follows a sometimes muddy ATV trail back into the magical Jack River Valley. The brilliantly blue Jack River flows through this out-of-the-way landscape. Many folks put in where the 50-meter-tall waterfall comes down into the river valley. The Jack River canyon provides an exciting class III section of river before continuing out to the park's highway through splashy class II water. for the slides, maps, and gear list for this trip.
