Many UAF employees spend their careers doing meaningful work they love.
Whether you work at the Troth Yeddha’ Campus in Fairbanks, remotely, or at one of our community campuses across AV̳, you play a vital role in UAF's mission.
Getting started with the Employee Experience at UAF.
- New Employee Welcome event Aug. 14. New employees meet with university leadership and connect with peers while learning about UAF's mission, vision and history.
- Discover UAF: Overview for remote employees. UAF's mission, vision and history shared via Zoom. Varied times.
- Mentoring program. Partner with an experienced colleague to help you navigate your first year. Specific programs available for new and aspiring supervisors.
- Staff Recognition and Development Day. This annual spring event includes longevity awards along with personal and professional development sessions to help you connect and succeed. Sign up to volunteer; or
- Winter Gear Workshop. Learn more about how to thrive in the cold with the right gear to match your activities with Frank Olive from Outdoor Programs. 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11. This event will take place on the 6th Floor of the Rasmuson Library in the Student Success Center.
